Citing sources properly is a critical academic skill. Not only does citing sources enhance your credibility and bolster your argument, it can keep keep you out of hot water by avoiding plagiarism.
Many times you can find full citations already created when researching in databases. Look for symbols and/or wording that indicate the citation is available for you to copy/paste.
