Rules for Using Quiet Spaces
- Check in for your appointment at the Library Desk so we don’t give your space away to someone else.
- This is a QUIET STUDY SPACE. Remember – you’re on camera!
- Keep all noises to a minimum. This means being aware of your personal habits like sniffing when we need a tissue, talking to yourself, or other behaviors we don’t always notice. We all do these types of things, but the distraction can be amplified in a quiet space.
- You must use headphones for all videos, music, textbook read-aloud programs, etc.
- No Zoom calls, phone calls, or video calls. If you need to take/make a call, please leave the area.
- Food and drink are limited to snacks and simple foods. Nobody wants to be in here with stinky food.
- No collaborating or talking – that’s what group study spaces are for.
- Clean up after yourself.
